The request was for a paint booth powered exclusively by electricity, with zero CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and optimum temperature control during paint drying.
Solution
We designed an Extra spray booth with a high-efficiency fan coil unit powered by an electric battery, thus using only electrical energy.
Thanks to the photovoltaic system, installed on the roof of the shed, the spray booth has a near-zero energy consumption and with it also zero CO2 emissions.
The fan coil unit is equipped with a heat recovery unit and an inverter, which significantly increases the efficiency of the system, reducing thermal energy consumption by up to 50%.
With our Ultra Air Speed ventilation system it is possible to partialise the air flow, concentrating it only on the part to be worked on, with a further 40% saving in energy consumption.
The spray booth uses an innovative infrared lamp system installed on the wall to heat the component to be painted quickly and to the ideal temperature, considerably speeding up the work processes.
The entire management of the working phases takes place through a touchscreen PLC for intelligent management of consumption and in an Industry 4.0 perspective.
