The variety of treated vehicles and the different car body and finishing processes require a flexible and well-organized system to achieve a continuous vehicle throughput with as few downtimes and waiting times as possible. All this applied to paint preparation, application and finish, complete jobs and smart and spot repair. To work on different vehicles quickly and precisely, this requires painting and drying systems as well as preparation areas in various sizes.
Solution
We achieved maximum productivity by installing a paint shop that consists of nine Genius preparation areas, six in standard dimensions and three XL versions, also suitable for commercial vehicles, vans and minibuses. These prep stations are equipped with hydraulic/pneumatic scissor lifts built into the metal-grids and are perfectly integrated with mobile infrared accelerated paint curing devices. One preparation area is equipped with a motorized infrared portal dryer, which is positioned in a specially designed work area. The central dust extraction system makes it possible to work in a safe and clean working environment.
In the center there are two additional high-performance Extra paint booths with a separate paint mix system for the safe preparation of the paint to be used. State-of-the-art technologies enable perfect color management. The plant is completed by an aluminum repair station and an area for high-gloss end polishing.
