An open spray booth and a clean room for working in a dust-free environment
The company produces artistic finishes on steel, brass, copper, aluminum, nickel and pewter surfaces. This process is in demand by furniture makers, architects and designers who want to give their metal creations exclusive chromaticism.
Request
Finishing on metal requires the application of a protective coating to preserve it over time. It was therefore necessary to have a distinct area for painting and one for drying, well ventilated, for the exhaust of paint solvents, and dust-free, to ensure a perfect finish.
Solution
We have created two communicating workspaces. The first: an open cabin with a rear suction wall that creates a negative pressure and activates the circulation of the airflow towards the filter section. The result is a perfectly ventilated space during painting. The dry-filter-system minimizes the chemical risk by absorbing the overspray particles suspended in the air and thus preventing them from being breathed in by the operators.
Next to it is a flash-off area for drying painted parts, a totally dust-free and well-ventilated clean room for working in complete safety.
The thermo-ventilating group is equipped with a high efficiency fan, with backward curved blade impeller directly coupled to the motor, and Easy inverter. The innovative system automatically manages the suction air-flow rate through inverter and flow switch, reducing substantially consumption and wear.
Both working areas are equipped with LED lighting, so that all details on small objects can be easily seen without color distortion.
The work area is equipped with an IR lamp that is used for radiant preheating of the components to be painted: a low-energy, easily adjustable solution that always ensures the right temperature.
