Blowclima thermoventilation units: the new frontier of efficiency and sustainability

The latest generation of full electric hybrid units for paint booths combined with heat pump

In the current industrial landscape, energy efficiency and sustainability are no longer optional, but fundamental requirements. This is the direction in which the latest generation of full electric hybrid units for paint booths is moving, combining heat pump, electric battery and high-performance heat recovery systems.

Maximum efficiency, minimum consumption

Thanks to the perfect integration between the heat pump and the electric battery, the system can operate in fully electric mode, ensuring high performance with very low installed power. This represents a strategic advantage, especially in contexts where the availability of electricity is limited or expensive.

Access to tax incentives

The reduction of CO₂ emissions and the use of clean energy allow access to tax incentives, present in many European countries and destined to grow with the advancement of industrial decarbonisation policies promoted by the EU.

Flexible solution suitable for retrofit

The system is also available as a retrofit kit, making it possible to update existing systems without having to replace them. Furthermore, it can also be configured in combination with gas or diesel, allowing a significant reduction in operating costs compared to traditional systems.

High-performance heat recovery

The heat recovery unit, an integral part of the system, ensures a basic thermal efficiency of 48–50%, which can reach 70% in advanced configurations. This allows significant energy savings, especially in the winter months.

Intelligent and adaptive management

Management is entrusted to an advanced PLC that optimizes the use of available sources in real time. During the painting, eco-spray and flashing phases, the hot water battery powered by the heat pump works with clean air, ensuring maximum thermal output. In the event of excessively low external temperatures, the electric battery comes into support, increasing the available power.

During the recirculation phase, the air flow is reduced to 50%, with 85% recirculation. The electric battery starts at 56.3 kW, with modular operation in two stages, to reach drying temperatures between 50 and 60°C, in line with the needs of water-based paints.

Safety and operational continuity

A 500-liter buffer boiler, on the heat pump side, prevents the system from blocking during winter antifreeze cycles, ensuring continuity and reliability even in the coldest climates.
