Precise and eco-efficient temperature and ventilation management within a very large space
Ventilation and heating of large volumes in open space finishing environments requires a powerful but at the same time very efficient system, which allows fast and precise control of parameters, which ensures high energy efficiency.

The customer required a very large space for the preparation and painting of helicopters. Ventilating and heating a space of almost 15,000 m3 precisely and quickly requires a large amount of energy. The requirement was to make the facility as efficient as possible while reducing energy consumption.
Solution
The system features high-efficiency thermoventilating units, with a total air flow of 640,000 m3/h, with electric coils and heat recovery units that guarantee 70% efficiency. In addition, the use of the Ultra Air Speed ventilation system allows the air flow to be sectional, concentrating it only on the part to be painted, with a further 40% reduction in energy consumption.
The structure, based on our Space booth, allows the shopfloor-area to be divided up by an intermediate roll-up door, creating a large spray booth with grids on the floor and two booths, with suction on the wall, for the preparation and finishing of the substrates to be painted.
Lighting is uniform throughout the cabin thanks to the Blowlight LED lighting system.
